A great Read. Joseph Zarwaski invites the reader to "read his journal" basically. He carries you along from his life of excellence in becoming one of the top lawyers of the country and all the things that went with it to waking up one day with his wife wanting and getting a divorce. It shakes his world and he goes on an inner quest to find his life mission. It was fascinating to me to see that as we all bumble through the path of life, there really is a pattern, a discernable path that the human experience is. It's described in my religion in Temples, in scriptures of all the worlds religions, in biographies of the Greats, (ie. anyone that influences the course of human history/events for more then his/her generation...I guess that would be any parent :), in philosophy, in astronomy, etc. The human story is an old one and it's pattern is true for the individual as well as the nation.
Joseph leads one down this path with the props and stage being of his own journey. It was fascinating for me.
He speaks of clear intention. He quotes great minds. He takes you on a ride that if you've tasted any part of what he speaks, you find yourself saying...YES, yes, absolutely! I loved this book!
